It is estimated that 70% of women across Zimbabwe use kuvhura musuwo in order to assist with childbirth. Health experts however are condemning the practice saying it plays a huge factor in Zimbabwe is ranked 34th highest for infant mortality and 23rd highest for maternal mortality in the world.
